Representative front pages from each decade of The Daily Pennsylvanian’s 124-year history will be imaged to demonstrate this project’s potential. Five are currently available:

October 15, 1885: The inaugural issue of the DP

November 25, 1963: The University holds memorial services after the assassination of U.S. President John F. Kennedy.

March 23, 1979: Penn Men’s Basketball makes it to the NCAA Final Four in Salt Lake City, Utah, the closest the team has ever come to the NCAA Championship

April, 13, 1993: Former University President Sheldon Hackney is named Chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities by U.S. President Bill Clinton.

September 12, 2001: Penn reacts to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
